Google Pagerank Update

Google Pagerank Update

The highly anticipated Google Pagerank update rolled out to everyone on 27th June 2011 and to help clients to improve their score we are offering a 15% discount on all link building packages ordered before 27th July 2011.

You can find out your current Pagerank by downloading the Google Toolbar and enabling the show Pagerank option in the settings. The toolbar is compatible with Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.Google Pagerank is a score of between 0 for new websites and 10 being the top score for sites like Google.com for instance. Your site will be somewhere on this scale. The score is an indication of the quality of your website as measured by Google algorhythms.

Search optimisation can influence your Google Pagerank score because the algorhythm takes into account the number and quality of incoming links to your website.

For example 10 incoming links from websites with a Pagerank score of 9 for example is worth more than 90 incoming links from sites with a Pagerank of 1 or below.

However there are things to be careful about because Google look for a natural linking strategy. If you have only very high Pagerank incoming links things start looking fishy. Therefore when we do link building for our clients we ensure a mix of different links from sites with various Pagerank scores.

Link building is one of the best ways to increase your Google Pagerank score. So take advantage of the 15% discount on all our SEO services between 27th June and 27th July 2011. Simply mention the Google Pagerank Update when ordering.

Thanks for the information! I experienced a jump to PR3 on both of my blogs. I have no more traffic than normal, and I have not been working on backlinks. All I’ve been doing is developing content. Thanks again.
